One of the challenges that I had during my internship at Indonesia is language barrier. The children do not know the English language and my teachers as well. So I do not know how would I be able to teach my students. By God's grace, He gave me wisdom. He gave me an idea of making a script so that I will be able to teach the children using their mother tongue.
Preparing my lesson plan is the first thing I did. My teacher's lesson plan were all in bahasa Indonesia so I had to translate it first so that I would be able to make my own lesson plan following the sequence and process of that they usually have.

The next thing I did was preparing my visual aids. I made sure that my visual aids are visible in the eyes of my children. Since I had a hard time speaking their language, I have to do my best in presenting my topic through visuals.

Next, I made a script. The script contains all the things that say during my teaching demo. Like for example I put:

Next, I submit my lesson plan to my teacher 2 days prior to my teaching demonstration.

Then, I teach. I follow the sequence written in my lesson plan. My first topic was about the community worker, "doktor"
Next, I let them do the activities. Each center has at least 3-5 activities.

Then, Review and closing.
​
"Selamat pagi anak anak!" (Good morning children!
Bagaimana Kabarmu Hari ini? (How are you today? )
Possible response: "Baik" (Good)
